2008/04/10 Club Meeting Minutes

Total 9 members attended the meeting: Cindy, Jennifer, Jie, Joe, Kerry, Mike C, Mike G, Sam, Shyam.

The agenda for the meeting is as follows.

Sergeant At Arms	Jie -- called meeting to order at 7:30pm.
Spark Master	Mike C. -- told us the fun about baseball.
President	Joe -- welcomed everyone to the meeting.
Toastmaster	Sam -- introduced functionaries for the meeting: Sam: Master Evaluator Cindy: Grammarian. The word of the day: ineluctable Cindy: Ah Counter Kerry: Timer
Table Topics Shyam, as the Table Topic Master, asked us to talk about food an drinks, art and entertainment, personality, and philosophy. 8 members participated in the table topics: Cindy, Jennifer, Jie, Joe, Kerry, Mike C, Mike G, Sam. Both Kerry and Sam tied with the Best Table Topic Speaker award.
Business meeting	Joe, representing Louise, reported the club budget. 14 members have renewed their membership.

Speaker 1	Jennifer: "Watchers", Speech #4 (Read Out Loud) from the Specialty Speeches Manual.
Jennifer won the Best Speaker award.
Evaluation
